Established mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC construction, installation and maintenance for the NY Tri-State area is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of an Accounts Payable Manager on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Controller.

Description:

Responsible for all Accounts Payable activities for the company. Coordinate all payments made to vendors. Review and process invoices associated with purchase orders and subcontracts. Perform accounts payable and general ledger maintenance. Respond to all inquiries regarding accounts payable from vendors, customers, and employees. Act as a liaison between Project Managers and Vendors. Track and upload all certified payroll that is submitted by contractors to the general contractors portal.

Qualification:

Minimum 3 years' experience in accounts payable with a working background in a construction company or related industry. Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be well versed in computer usage and software such as Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Sage software is a plus.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
