full-time Bookkeeper $75-$85k Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and general ledger accounts. Process accounts payable, including invoice entry, coding, and vendor payments. Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections support. Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations. Record daily financial transactions and journal entries. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare financial reports and support budgeting activities as requested. Track and reconcile inventory-related transactions. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. Maintain vendor and customer records. Assist with payroll processing and related reporting as needed. Support external auditors, tax preparers, and internal stakeholders during financial reviews. Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred. 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and bookkeeping practices. Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
