Job Description
Description About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven finance environment. This role will support daily AR operations, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process cash receipts, ACH payments, wire transfers, and check deposits.
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and billing issues.
- Reconcile accounts receivable balances and maintain accurate customer records.
- Prepare AR aging reports and communicate collection status to management.
- Assist with month‑end close activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
- Partner with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve customer inquiries and improve collection efforts. Requirements Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, collections, and accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills, with the ability to professionally interact with customers regarding outstanding balances.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
