Position Summary Liberty Jet is a private aviation company looking for a detail-oriented Aviation Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for aircraft operations, properly allocating expenses, reviewing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing monthly reports for aircraft owners. Key Responsibilities Review and allocate expenses to the appropriate general ledger account, aircraft, and trip. Verify that vendor invoices are accurate, properly documented, and assigned to the correct aircraft and trip. Review monthly aircraft expenses for accuracy, including dates, flight legs, trip details, and supporting documentation. Reconcile assigned accounts as part of the month-end closing process. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, incorrect allocations, and missing information. Prepare monthly aircraft management statements and owner reports. Distribute management statements and financial reports to aircraft owners within established deadlines. Maintain organized and accurate accounting records for each aircraft. Communicate with vendors, internal departments, and management to obtain necessary documentation and resolve accounting questions. Assist with additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Previous accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple aircraft accounts and meet month-end deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential financial and client information professionally. Aviation accounting or aircraft management experience is preferred but not required. Reliable and able to work independently. Comfortable identifying discrepancies and following through until they are resolved. Capable of prioritizing responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment. Professional when communicating with aircraft owners, vendors, and colleagues. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary of $55,000-$66,560 , depending on experience.
