Hours:
3 to 8 hours per week (Highly flexible schedule) Job Overview The Administrative Bookkeeper plays a vital role in both the financial integrity and daily operational success of our organization. In this highly autonomous, part-time role, you will maintain precise, up-to-date financial records using Sage or QuickBooks, manage General Ledger and AP/AR workflows, and provide essential administrative, fundraising, and communication support to keep our office running efficiently. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to directly support the mission and fiscal health of our local non-profit organization. Duties Maintain the General Ledger and manage AP/AR workflows using Sage or QuickBooks Generate weekly hospital billing, review vendor invoices, issue monthly client statements, and handle weekly bank deposits Assist with the annual donor Fund Drive (tracking donations, mailing thank-you letters). Generate/submit grant funding requests, with a primary focus on the Pritchard Fund Maintain organized, secure physical and digital financial records while managing annual insurance renewals Provide occasional coverage for the Office Administrator (answering phones/messages) during absences Requirements Bring a proven, solid background in bookkeeping, General Ledger maintenance, and accounts receivable/payable. Demonstrate high proficiency and comfort working with Sage or QuickBooks systems. Manage own self-directed, highly flexible schedule to complete tasks within 3 to 8 hours per week. Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive client, medical, and financial files. Ability to physically deliver weekly bank deposits in
