Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented administrative professional with experience supporting Accounts Payable? We're seeking a reliable Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Tarrytown, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with invoices, vendor records, and financial processes in a collaborative office environment. As our Accounts Payable Assistant, you'll play an important role in ensuring invoices and vendor information are processed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
Monitor, research, and resolve Accounts Payable communications and inquiries. Manage the Accounts Payable shared inbox by responding professionally and ensuring timely follow-up. Set up and maintain vendor records, including banking information. Review and verify invoices processed through Bottomline TAC/OCR. Maintain vendor fingerprint information within the Bottomline platform. Provide backup support to Accounts Payable Coordinators and assist with departmental workflow as needed. Work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. 2-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in Accounts Payable, accounting, or finance support. Experience processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and supporting Accounts Payable functions. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Experience working with accounting software, ERP systems, or invoice automation platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
