Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations in New York. This position is ideal for a hands-on individual who can manage core financial processes with accuracy, consistency, and strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will take ownership of bookkeeping activities across payables, receivables, payroll, and month-end reporting while helping maintain reliable financial records.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping functions to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
  • Manage accounts payable activities, including reviewing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining organized vendor records.
  • Handle accounts receivable tasks by issuing invoices, monitoring collections, and applying customer payments correctly.
  • Complete bank and account reconciliations regularly to verify balances and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Process payroll accurately and in accordance with established schedules and company requirements.
  • Prepare month-end close activities, including reviewing ledgers, posting adjustments, and supporting timely financial reporting.
  • Maintain the integrity of accounting data within QuickBooks and generate reports as needed for operational and financial review.
