Cincinnati metropolitan area, Ohio, United States (On-site) Position Overview Metalex is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays an important role in maintaining accurate and timely customer billing, collections, financial reporting, and month-end accounting activities. This position works closely with customers as well as our operations, shipping, and management teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and distribute customer invoices and apply incoming payments
  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collection
  • Coordinate with internal departments to prepare domestic & international shipping documentation, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of parts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare & maintain projected billing reports
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports to support operational and business reporting needs
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities by preparing reports, reconciling data, and assisting with accounting processes as needed Collaboration & Support
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Support the Controller and Treasurer with projects and reporting
  • Assist with process improvements and maintaining accounting procedures and documentation Qualifications
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with ERP systems (AS400 or similar systems preferred)
  • Associate degree in Accounting or related experience is a plus Skills & Attributes

Work Location:
