Summary/Objective OrthoUnited's Insurance Accounts receivable specialist position provides Physician/patient support in all aspects of account receivables while providing excellent costumer service in a fast pass work environment. Essential Functions 1. Maintains prompt and regular attendance 2. Communicate effectively with co-workers 3. Invaluable customer service skills 4. Administrative duties a. Insurance payor appeals, working denials, problem solving, refunds, and AR accountability b. Communication between Physicians and Patients via telephone or in person c. Any/all tasks assigned by Coordinator or Management Experience One year of Medical office billing/AR (preferred) Medent (EMR) experience is a plus
