In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial operations. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Perform general ledger accounting tasks including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting. Vendor Management Conduct account reconciliation activities regularly to verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies promptly. Utilize spreadsheets and Excel data analysis techniques to support financial reporting and audit preparation. Handle confidential information with discretion Conduct month-end and year end closing procedures, including ledger review and account analysis. Drive cost accounting and inventory control in conjunction with production and management Coordinate and manage external audit processes d Coordinate with external accountants Generate detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management review. Requirements 5-10 years proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper, accountant or accounting specialist Knowledge of payroll processing, general ledger, month end closing, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable , and tax preparation procedures. Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with strong knowledge of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and journal entries. Familiarity with accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, ADP, Ceridian, Kronos or similar platforms. Experience working within corporate or governmental accounting environments is highly preferred. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks and Excel, with willingness to learn new software system Ability to work well as part of a team and independently Manage and prioritize multiple duties Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
