Job Description
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations in Cleveland, Ohio. This position focuses on accurate payment processing, account reconciliation, and financial reporting while helping maintain efficient accounts payable workflows. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced finance environment.
Record daily and monthly journal entries to support accurate financial reportingReconcile vendor balances and GL accounts, investigating and resolving variancesReview invoices, POs, and vendor documents to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracyCoordinate supplier payments, including check runs, in line with schedules and controlsManage online banking and expense systems for transaction processing and trackingMonitor accounts payable activity, maintain records, and report on trendsSupport month-end close with reporting, accruals, and deadline-driven tasksAssist with audits, prepare documentation, and support budgeting and finance projects
