Job Description

Finance Assistant, Hamlet Protein We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business by processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Process purchase invoices and supplier payments. Raise sales invoices and reconcile customer accounts. Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management. Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems. Support month-end and year-end accounting processes. Prepare journals and assist with financial reporting. Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts. Assist with payroll administration where required. Respond to finance-related queries from suppliers, customers, and colleagues. Perform general finance and administrative duties as assigned. We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping role and with a good understanding of accounting principles.
In addition we expect:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
