Job Description

Responsibilities Include:
  • First point of contact for the public visiting our office. Always provide friendly customer service.
  • Daily sorting and processing of incoming mail, including returned mail research.
  • Various payment processing, including batch payments.
  • Drawer reconciliation and month end reconciliations.
  • Answering phone calls, emails, and mail.
  • Setting up or updating taxpayers on various programs.
  • Processing parcel updates (conveyances, changes, coding, address changes, lender changes, etc.)
  • Remission of penalty processes.
  • Mass lender updates.
  • Division bill preparation, research, and processing.
  • Additional duties: backup coverage, filing, recycling, shredding, mailings, and other projects as assigned.
  • Cross training and coverage on delinquent collections such as contracts and bankruptcies, back office daily balancing tasks and duties, and other areas as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Good attendance and punctuality are a must
  • 1-2 Years of cashiering, money handling, or banking experience required
  • Excellent customer service
  • Computer skills including excel
  • Organizational skills
  • Experience in a small office environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn Job Type
