Accounts Payable Clerical Schedule:
Monday-Friday Pay rate: $18.00 per hour Target start date: August 24, 2026Qualifications:
- Basic accounting knowledge — understanding invoices, payments, debits/credits, and account numbers.
- Data-entry skills — accurate typing and record entry.
- Microsoft Excel — sorting, filtering, and spreadsheets.
- Attention to detail — especially important when entering invoice amounts, vendor information, and payment details .
- Organization skills — ability to track invoices, receipts, approvals, and payment deadlines.
- Communication skills — communicating with vendors, employees, purchasing departments, and accounting staff.
- Basic computer skills — familiarity with email, Microsoft Office, and accounting systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information — AP staff may deal with banking and vendor payment information.
