Job Description

Basic Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Accounting Director, this role will have a strong background in bookkeeping, payment processing, accounts payable, invoice correction and reconciliation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Track financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Utilize different software systems to manage financial data, generate reports and streamline accounting processes. Send out invoices to client facilities in a timely manner. Process client payments accurately and in a timely manner. Intercompany balancing and eliminations monthly. GL Account reconciliations (including identifying & rectifying variances). Identify and rectify errors in invoices, working collaboratively with teams to ensure accuracy. Reconcile vendor and customer statements and resolve discrepancies. Coordinate the annual audit process and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Maintain accurate records of all accounting transactions. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Provide excellent customer service to client facilities regarding billing inquiries. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Proven experience as an accounting specialist or in a similar role. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and MS Office (especially Excel formulas). Proprietary software used. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting. Comply with GAAP and HIPAA guidelines. Ability to multi-task, interpreting on-going problems and suggesting possible solutions. Ability to prioritize tasks and work at a quick pace.
