Days Description:
Provide timely, accurate payment of District expenditures in a manner that affords excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Essential Functions:
Ensure that invoices are verified with purchase orders and actual items are received and appropriately approved in accordance with District accounting and purchasing policies prior to processing for payment. Correspond/communicate with vendors and TTC personnel on a timely basis to resolve questions or discrepancies regarding payment requests. Ensure that dealings with both internal and external customers are reflective of TTC's commitment to excellent customer service. Enter payments and attach all appropriate documentation into general ledger system in a manner that ensures timely and accurate payment and record keeping. Reconcile vendor statements, including researching duplicate invoices, payment discrepancies, and other issues. Complete daily review and reconciliation for preparation of invoice payments on a timely and accurate basis. Work closely with other Accounts Payable Technician and Supervisor to review data entry and resolve discrepancies. Process all Tulsa Tech employee travel and expense reimbursements in a timely manner. Verify payment accuracy and mail reimbursements. Verify all records are complete for auditors. Perform all other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of 2 years accounts payable or related financial experience. Familiarity with school law and Oklahoma Cost Accounting System preferred. Background in purchasing, accounts receivable, general finance or bookkeeping would be helpful. Valid state issued driver's license. Bilingual is a plus.

Salary Schedule:
Operations Support Hiring Range:
$40,445 to $44,644 annually dependent on experience, plus additional $9,900 compensation for salary-in-lieu of dependent benefit coverage.

Regular Requirements:

Occasional Requirements:
Reach with hands and arms overhead, above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 40 pounds. Must be able to travel or work extended hours, as needed.
Visual Requirements:
Close, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
Hearing/Speaking Requirements:
Adequate to exchange information.
