Job Description

Invictus Healthcare System is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented person to join our administrative team. This position will be responsible for insurance benefit verification, medical records requests and distribution, and assisting the Accounts Receivable team. Responsibilities Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits Obtain and document deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and coverage requirements Identify authorization and referral requirements Process and distribute medical records while following HIPAA requirements Track and follow up on outstanding medical record requests Assist in accounts receivable Document all activity accurately in Intergy Communicate professionally with patients, insurance companies, and outside organizations Assist with other administrative duties as needed Qualifications Previous benefits and medical records experience required Previous AR experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of insurance benefits and terminology Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Experience with electronic health records; Intergy experience is a plus Must maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, organized, and proactive. The right person will take ownership of their responsibilities, follow through without constant supervision, and be willing to help wherever needed to keep the practice running efficiently. Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
