Job Description

Overview Join our team as an Accounting Clerk, where your attention to detail and passion for financial accuracy will drive our organization's success. In this vital role, you will handle a variety of accounting functions, ensuring the integrity of financial data and supporting our commitment to transparency and compliance. Your energetic approach and proactive mindset will help streamline processes, maintain precise records, and contribute to our overall financial health. Responsibilities Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within various accounting software systems QuickBooks and Excel. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and account reconciliation. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Assist with payroll management tasks using ADP while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive employee information. Support month-end closing activities by using Excel data analysis tools and spreadsheets. Handle customer service inquiries related to billing or account status with professionalism and efficiency. Filing and organizing paperwork Filing and keeping licenses and permits up to date. Requirements Strong technical skills with proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel. Demonstrated ability in data entry, bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation. Excellent numeracy skills. Experience with payroll systems like ADP. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Effective communication skills for customer service interactions and team collaboration.
