Full Job Description Description:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will support the goals and effective functioning of the Accounts Receivable and Accounting teams by ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, payment applications, and Job costs, effective and proactive resolution to customer and company inquiries and disputes, and thorough, deadline-driven reporting and communication both internally and externally. Success in this position requires strict adherence to deadlines, superb communication skills, and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts receivable invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures Review invoices for proper coding, allocation of expenses, approvals, and documentation Review customer contracts and purchase orders to document billing instructions Prepare and deliver payment applications and billing submittals per customer guidelines Reconcile remittance statements and resolve any discrepancies Maintain accurate customer records in the accounting system Respond to customer and company inquiries in a timely manner and collaborate to resolve issues Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable Contribute to accounting team projects and improvement initiatives as required Assist with other accounting duties as assignedBenefits:
