Full Job Description Accounts Payable Specialist Location:

$65,000•70,000 About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records while building strong vendor relationships. You'll play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments for a well-established company. Compensation & Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Stable, team-oriented work environment Opportunity for long-term growth and development Key Responsibilities Process vendor and subcontractor invoices, ensuring accurate coding to the appropriate general ledger accounts and job cost codes. Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation while coordinating approvals with project managers and field teams. Prepare weekly check runs, ACH, and electronic payments, and reconcile vendor statements to resolve discrepancies. Maintain vendor records, including W-9s, insurance certificates, and other required subcontractor documentation. Support month-end close, AP reconciliations, and year-end 1099 processing while maintaining organized and accurate financial records. Qualifications 2+ years of accounts payable experience. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Construction industry experience is a plus, but not required. Timing is everything.
