Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM On-Site Position About Us ClearView Counseling Center is a growing outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to individuals, couples, and families. As our clinic continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Insurance Billing Specialist to join our team. Position Summary The Accounts Receivable & Insurance Billing Specialist plays a key role in maintaining the financial health of the clinic by managing insurance verification, claims follow-up, patient balances, and collections. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare or behavioral health setting and be comfortable communicating with insurance companies and clients regarding billing matters. Experience with TherapyNotes and/or Jane App is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Verify client insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments Review coverage, copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and authorization requirements Collect copayments, outstanding balances, and payment information Submit, monitor, and reconcile insurance claims Follow up on unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims Manage accounts receivable and aging reports Post insurance and patient payments accurately Communicate with clients regarding billing questions and payment arrangements Work with clinicians and administrative staff to resolve billing discrepancies Maintain accurate documentation and HIPAA-compliant records Assist with credentialing and payer-related administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications Required:

Minimum 2 years of medical billing and accounts receivable experience Experience verifying insurance benefits and eligibility Knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicaid, and behavioral health billing practices Strong understanding of explanation of benefits (EOBs) and claim denial management Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong customer service and communication abilities Proficiency with computers and electronic billing systems

Preferred:
