This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed for the purchasing and payment of goods and services. Key Responsibilities Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment Prints and distributes signed checks as required Answers all vendor inquiries Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and files Assists in monthly closings Prepares analysis of accounts as required Performs filing and copying Maintains process documentation Customer support of both internal and external customers Required Qualifications Ability to process invoices within 95-97% accuracy Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to handle high volume of expectations Understanding of general accounting Excellent math skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to work in and maintain a highly functional team environment Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills Ability to problem solve and understand and follow complex processes Must be well organized and service oriented Ability to maintain high level of composure in stressful situations and work well under pressure Preferred Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent experience in accounting or payables Experience in accounts payable in a large company with multiple sites Extensive experience in a large financial system About Roseburg Forest Products Founded in 1936, Roseburg Forest Products is a privately held company based in Springfield, Oregon.
