Job Description
Wilsonville Toyota is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team! This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and keeping dealership transactions moving accurately and efficiently. As our Accounting Specialist, you'll be responsible for a variety of dealership accounting functions, with a primary focus on vehicle inventory, dealer trades, and wholesale transactions . You'll work closely with the accounting, sales, parts, and management teams to ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time Responsibilites Manage and maintain vehicle inventory accounting Process and reconcile dealer trades Handle wholesale vehicle transactions Review invoices and ensure expenses are properly coded and recorded Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies Process accounting entries and maintain accurate records Assist with month-end closing and other accounting responsibilities Work with various dealership departments to resolve accounting issues Maintain organized documentation and ensure transactions are completed accurately Support the accounting team with additional duties and projects as needed Qualifications Previous automotive dealership accounting experience preferred Experience with inventory, dealer trades, wholesale, or AP is a strong asset Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Comfortable working with numbers and handling multiple priorities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while also being a team player Experience with dealership accounting software such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar is an asset If you have dealership accounting experience and enjoy being the person who keeps the numbers—and the dealership—running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you!
