Job Description
Bowser Chevrolet in Chippewa is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our dealership team. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is truly a jack-of-all-trades within the dealership office. This position requires someone who can confidently handle a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities while providing support across multiple departments. If you have previous automotive dealership experience and enjoy a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Process vehicle sales deals accurately and efficiently Complete title work, registrations, and lien processing Prepare and submit PennDOT paperwork Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile schedules and general ledger accounts Post vehicle sales, receipts, and accounting transactions Maintain complete and accurate deal jackets Assist with month-end closing procedures Support warranty, payroll, billing, or other accounting functions as needed Provide administrative support to the Sales, Service, and Management teams Assist customers in person and over the phone Perform a variety of dealership office duties as assigned What We're Looking For Previous automotive dealership experience is required Experience processing Pennsylvania title work is required Knowledge of dealership accounting procedures Experience with dealership management systems (CDK preferred) Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to assist wherever needed Why Bowser Chevrolet?
