Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled New Construction Allegheny County Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in new construction projects across residential and commercial sites. Your expertise will help ensure that plumbing installations meet all safety standards, local building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely. Duties Install plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, waste systems, and fixtures in new buildings according to blueprints and technical drawings Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure precise installation of plumbing components Operate company vehicles and heavy machinery safely to transport materials and equipment to job sites Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and plumbing inspection cameras to assemble and inspect plumbing systems Conduct plumbing system maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting during various phases of construction projects Perform drain cleaning, pipe threading, and assembly tasks to ensure proper flow and system integrity Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards throughout all phases of construction Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and meet project deadlines Assist with remodeling or handyman tasks as needed on construction sites requiring additional support Skills Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation in residential or commercial settings Strong mechanical knowledge of water systems, plumbing components, and system maintenance techniques Proficiency with welding, pipe threading, drain cleaning equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately Familiarity with local building codes and regulations governing plumbing installations Experience operating heavy machinery, power tools, hand tools, and company vehicles safely Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or project stakeholders on-site Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting during installations Heavy lifting capability for handling materials such as pipes, fixtures, or equipment over extended periods Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and efficient workflow management Handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus for versatile project support Join our team as a New Construction Plumber if you're passionate about building quality infrastructure from the ground up!
