Job Description

Position Overview Compiles and maintains accounts payable records by performing the following duties. Essential Job Functions (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.) Reviews all bills/vouchers for payment. Prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary. Matches Inventory receivers with Invoices. Matches purchase order with bills. Insures each bill is approved by a manager prior to payment. Answers all vendor inquiries. Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains accounts payable files. Data entry of vendor invoices. Assists managers with inventory inquiries. Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in an acceptable amount of time with and acceptable level of accuracy after completion of the training period. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Requirements Education and/or experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, on phone or in small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, ratios, commissions and percentages.
Reasoning ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer skills:
Ability to use computer; training will be provided as needed.
Equipment used:
Computer terminals and printers, calculators, credit card machines, fax, phone, typewriter and other office equipment.
Dress code:
Business casual attire.
Pay:
$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
