Job Description

Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable bookkeeper to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions while also supporting basic human resources activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Accounting Manage Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor invoices, payment processing, and reconciliations. Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliation. Reconcile bank and credit card statements. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies. Work closely with management to monitor budgets and control expenses. Human Resources Support Assist with employee onboarding and new hire paperwork. Maintain employee personnel files and HR records. Support payroll preparation by verifying employee hours and documentation. Help administer employee benefits and respond to general HR inquiries. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, hotel, or restaurant operations. Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Experience with accounting software (Sage, or similar ERP systems). Familiarity with payroll and HR processes is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience.
