Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the organization's financial health. Your expertise will help streamline bookkeeping processes, facilitate timely reporting, and contribute to the overall success of our operations. Duties Record and reconcile financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to verify accuracy of financial data Prepare journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger accounting in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations and standards Maintain detailed records of financial activities, including debits & credits, account reconciliation, and account analysis Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other reports necessary for management review Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses against budgets and providing relevant data for financial planning Experience Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices Hands-on experience with accounting software Familiarity with corporate accounting standards Knowledge of bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation processes Demonstrated ability to handle accounts payable/receivable processes efficiently and accurately Experience with financial report writing, account analysis, budgeting support, and general ledger reconciliation Strong proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and familiarity with financial concepts such as debits & credits Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines while maintaining high accuracy Join us in this rewarding role where your expertise will directly impact our organization's financial integrity. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
