Job Description

Accounting Coordinator / Accounts Payable Specialist A company local to Downingtown, Pa is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level to early-career candidate looking to build a strong foundation in accounting within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Process and code invoices accurately and ensure timely payment processing. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies. Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain accurate financial documentation. Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and general ledger support. Support accounts payable processes, reporting, and other accounting projects as needed. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial records and efficient workflows.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. 0-2 years of accounting, accounts payable, finance, banking, or related experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, customer-service-oriented approach. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in an accounting role.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
