Job Description

Overview Join our team as an Accounting Clerk, where your meticulous attention to detail and passion for numbers will drive the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. In this vital role, you will perform data entry, reconcile accounts, small games of chance and ensuring compliance with financial standards. Duties Perform precise data entry into various accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Excel and Comtrex to ensure accurate financial records. Reconcile general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and bank statements using QuickBooks. Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and timely payments. Prepare journal entries and month-end closing activities. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or anomalies, performing account reconciliation and balance sheet reviews regularly. General bookkeeping tasks and report processing. Reconcile weekly payroll for processing Calculate sales tax and process tax payments. Experience Proven experience in accounting using QuickBooks. Strong understanding of accounting principles in a small games of chance environment a plus. Demonstrated ability in technical accounting tasks like journal entries, account reconciliation, and ledger management. Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy in data entry and account management; familiarity with small games of chance and FRS is preferred. This role offers an opportunity for flexible hours and pay to commensurate with experience.
