Full Charge Bookkeeper Fleetwood Dental | Fleetwood, PA About the Position Fleetwood Dental is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to take ownership of the core accounting and financial operations of our established private dental practice. This position is ideal for someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in accuracy, and understands the importance of maintaining timely, organized, and reliable financial records. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage the complete accounting cycle and work closely with the practice owner, management team, and our outside CPA firm to ensure accurate financial reporting and seamless month-end and year-end closing.
Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Accounting:
Maintain and manage the general ledger, accounts payable (AP), cash management, and day-to-day bookkeeping activities.
Account Reconciliation:
Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and other financial accounts.
Payroll Processing:
Process bi-weekly payroll through our third-party payroll service and ensure payroll records are accurate and properly reconciled.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
Month-End & Year-End Close:
Maintain accurate and current records to support efficient month-end and year-end closing.
CPA Collaboration:
Coordinate with our outside CPA firm and management to provide accurate, organized financial information for tax preparation, year-end reporting, and audits as needed.
Employee Benefits Administration:
Manage and maintain records related to health insurance, the 401(k) plan, and employee benefits, including vacation and sick leave.
Financial Organization:
Maintain organized financial documentation and proactively identify discrepancies, unusual activity, or areas requiring attention.
Confidentiality:
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding practice, employee, payroll, and financial information. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a comparable accounting role. Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop . Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel . Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines without extensive supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion. Compensation:

Pay:
$28.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 15.0 per week
