Job Overview Jack Rich, Inc. is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our office team. We are a family-owned company serving residential and commercial customers throughout the area with HVAC services, lubricants, heating oil, diesel fuel, gasoline, and other petroleum products. This position will have two primary responsibilities: handling accounts payable and accounting-related office work, and assisting customers over the phone, including scheduling service calls for our HVAC department. We are looking for someone who is organized, accurate, comfortable working with numbers, and able to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and our service technicians. Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable Review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation Enter bills, payments, credits, and other accounting information into our system Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain organized and accurate accounting records Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, credits, and payment questions Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department Schedule HVAC service calls and coordinate appointments with our service team Communicate with customers regarding service scheduling and basic questions Assist with customer account and billing questions Handle incoming mail, invoices, and other office paperwork Assist with other accounting and administrative responsibilities as needed Qualifications Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with invoices, payments, credits, and account reconciliations Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits Experience with accounting software is preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other basic office programs Strong organizational and time-management skills Comfortable answering phones and communicating with customers Ability to manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day Dependable and able to work independently HVAC, fuel, petroleum, or service-industry experience is helpful but not required About Jack Rich, Inc. Pay:

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
