Job Description

Conewago is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team. The Accounting Specialist is a key member of the Accounting Department responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations across multiple business units. This role requires a detail-orientated individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of accounting functions accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and eager to grow within the organization.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
  • process and review vendor invoices Credit Card Administration
  • Process monthly credit card transactions & reconcile statements Billings for multiple divisions
  • Prepare and process customer billings for Ready Mix & Mobile Plant operations Cash Receipts
  • Post and reconcile cash receipts Control Estimates
  • Import and manage Control Estimates for Construction and Manufacturing divisions
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • or equivalent work experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook); strong Excel skills preferred General computer literacy with the ability to learn new software systems quickly Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Effective written and verbal communication skills Conewago offers a competitive salary and benefits package that begins after a 45 day orientation period and includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, PTO and paid Holidays.
