About the
Job:
This is a full-time role located at Apex Advertising's Lancaster, PA office. The Accounting Assistant will handle various accounting and financial tasks including preparing and maintaining financial records, managing bookkeeping responsibilities, and assisting with other accounting and finance operations as needed. This role will involve working with accounting software to ensure proper documentation and transaction accuracy, while supporting the finance team in day-to-day operations.Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly bank account reconciliations. Record and categorize expenses, verifying receipts and supporting documentation. Issue required check, credit card, wire and ACH payments. Post cash receipts and process bank deposits. Analyze financial information and identify discrepancies. Provide oversight on fixed asset reporting, including depreciation journal entries. Prepare and record monthly journal entries and complete account reconciliations. Help streamline processes and procedures.Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Statements Proficiency with Accounting Software and Financial tools Understanding of Finance principles and practices Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel SAP Business One experience a plus. Effective communication and team collaboration skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Experience with task prioritization and ability to meet deadlinesJob Type:
Full-time Pay:
