Description The position of Accounts Receivable is responsible for billing/receivables, identifying payment discrepancies, creating the proper reconciling entries/transactions to ensure complete and accurate payment application. The candidate will also be required to efficiently review, sort, process, post and file all receivable documents to maintain accurate records including identifying delinquent accounts and assist with answering in-coming calls and direct them to appropriate personnel.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
- Post and file all accounting transactions following established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc.
- FMVSS and title development.
- Collects, calculates and enters employee hours for payroll information.
- Assists in all general accounting tasks and general data input including use sheets according to established procedures.
- Compiles data from stock counts and enters information to maintain inventory records.
- Assists in clerical tasks as necessary to support and improve operations.
- Other duties as assigned by competent authority.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, accounting software and basic bookkeeping processes.
- General accounting knowledge.
- Rapid data entry and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, be attentive to details and be efficient in all processes with extreme accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving, research and analysis skills.
- The right candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and possess a positive attitude and be a team player.
- Must be able to understand, read and speak the English language.
