Job Description

Position Objective Complete all AR functions and provide accounting assistance company wide. Core Responsibilities 1.

The dynamic nature of the live events industry requires flexibility to work overtime, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, as dictated by project schedules and client needs. 2. Create invoices, receive payments and follow-up on past due balances. 3. Maintain customer tax exempt certificate file. 4. Facilitate account setup for new clients. 5. Maintain accounts on vendor portals as required. 6. Prepare and track intercompany invoices. 7. Maintain profit center specific databases with sales invoice information. 8. Provide custom reports and analyses as requested. 9. Address process improvements as needed. Organizational Relationships
  • The A/R Specialist reports to the Assistant Controller. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel applications.
Physical Requirements Ability to perform typical office tasks using a computer and phone in a typical office environment. Work Environment Typical office environment for the majority of the time.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
