Job Type:
Part-time (20 hours per week) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Office Associate for general data entry, accounts receivable, student billing, and student financial account management responsibilities. Qualifications Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field Three to five years of accounting experience Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with accounting software; Blackbaud preferred Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines Essential Duties Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Maintain accounts receivable and assist with accounts payable processes Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support business office operations Provide support to student billing of tuition and incidentals, and accounts receivable Assist with student account-related tasks and documentation assigned Assist with special projects and financial reporting as assigned Maintain confidentiality of financial and student information Additional Duties Perform duties as assigned by the Head of School or other administrators Required Clearances PA Child Abuse (Act 153) PA State Police (Act 34) FBI Fingerprint (Act 114) Required Trainings Mandated Reporter (Act 126- Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Act) Suicide Prevention (Act 71) Salary Competitive and commensurate with experience This part-time position does not offer full-time benefits such as medical, dental, or retirement.
