Job Description
About the Role The Personal Lines Account Associate provides administrative and customer service support to the Personal Lines Department. This role works closely with Account Managers to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, deliver exceptional client service, and maintain accurate policy documentation. Primary Responsibilities Process policy changes, including mortgagee updates, through carrier websites and direct communication with insurance carriers. Monitor and follow up on late payment notices, billing inquiries, underwriting requests, and other policy-related issues. Assist with remarketing existing policies, as needed. Review new and renewal policies for accuracy and completeness. Support client retention efforts while assisting with new business opportunities. Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, mortgage companies, and other third parties regarding policy servicing, documentation, and account activity. Prepare, distribute, and follow up on applications, forms, and other required client documentation. Assist with marketing accounts, reviewing carrier quotations for accuracy, and preparing client proposals. Maintain accurate client records within the agency management system and process renewals, policy binders, ID cards, invoices, and other policy documentation in a timely manner. Provide administrative support to the Personal Lines team and perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Professional, courteous, and customer-focused communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Demonstrated initiative with a strong desire to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in the insurance industry.
