Job Description
Accounts Receivable Associate Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review daily the daily aging report to determine delinquent customer accounts. Monitor assigned customer accounts' delinquency status Perform collections on receivables owed for assigned customer accounts. Contacts designated customer representative by letter, email, phone, etc. to determine future payment status Arrange payment plans for customers who have an existing balance but cannot submit the balance in full Apply payments to accounts & performs account reconciliations Perform credit & check refunds Send out monthly statements Release credit hold orders up to designated authority limit Perform notary functions if appropriately licensed Back up receptionist with answering incoming phone calls and greeting main entrance guests. Ensures applicable internal personnel are notified guest has arrived and calls are holding Enroll customers in company specified relationship management software & transaction management software Answer customer phone calls & assist in customer service duties Why work for HVAC Distributors? Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following skills and abilities: Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to develop cooperative working relationships Must be highly detail oriented and possess strong negotiation skills Must be extremely organizedComputer Skills:
