Job Description

About the role We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in New Hope, Pennsylvania in a full-time, in-office capacity. This role is designed to support the accuracy and efficiency of the company's accounting operations by managing core bookkeeping activities, coordinating with internal departments and external vendors, and helping maintain reliable financial records. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting fundamentals, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment . Responsibilities Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting records with a high degree of accuracy Support accounts receivables, ensuring timely and accurate billing, maintaining reliable financial records, and managing credit risk Process financial information in the accounting system using invoices, purchase orders, and inventory receipts Coordinate with internal departments such as purchasing, maintenance, and shipping & receiving regarding purchase orders and inventory-related documentation Analyze and calculate sales commissions based on current compensation plans Administer employee travel expense processing, including review, data entry, and reimbursement support Handle vendor inquiries and help resolve invoice, payment, and documentation discrepancies Provide administrative support to the accounting function, including data entry, bank deposits, and check mailings Other duties as assigned; it is not uncommon to handle parts of AR & AP over time in this role as we are a smaller team Requirements 4-year degree in Accounting or a related field Previous accounting experience strongly preferred Experience with accounts receivable and/or accounts payable and collections QuickBooks experience (preferably desktop) Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles, including cost and financial accounting practices and procedures Excellent mathematical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both in person and over the phone Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong time management and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to succeed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Opportunities for professional growth and increased responsibility within the accounting team
