Job Description
The Help Hub is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Center City Philadelphia. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented AP professional who enjoys working with numbers, vendors, and internal teams to keep our accounts payable operations running smoothly and accurately. Responsibilities Process, code, and enter high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and on time Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents (3-way match) Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies Respond to vendor inquiries about payment status and account balances Maintain accurate and organized AP records and vendor files Assist with month-end close, including AP accruals and account reconciliations Process employee expense reports and reimbursements Prepare and file 1099s at year-end Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and controls Qualifications 1+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience Working knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas) Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Clear written and verbal communication skills Able to work in person at our Center City Philadelphia location Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience with high-volume AP processing Familiarity with sales tax and 1099 reporting AP certification (APS, APM, or similar) a plus Equal Opportunity Employer The Help Hub is an equal opportunity employer. Pay:
$28.75 - $35.21 per hourBenefits:
