Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a key role in supporting our accounting operations through accurate billing, payment processing, account reconciliation, and customer account management. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities. What You'll Be Doing Prepare, review, and send consolidated customer billings Manage customer portal sites, including account setup and instructions Assist with customer portal invoice entry Monitor portal accounts to ensure timely invoice submission and payment processing Research and resolve sales tax payment issues Complete quarterly AR sales tax clean-up and journal entries Research customer credits and resolve account discrepancies Prepare customer refund requests Manage and review customer credit card payments Maintain customer special handling instructions and account records Issue W-9 forms as requested Providing backup support for lockbox preparation and cash receipt posting Assist with credit card preparation and posting Complete Profleet/Warranty account clean-up and journal entries Assist with end-of-month Raymond reporting (BT-17) Setting up new customer accounts Send end-of-month AR reports Upload PNC lockbox files Provide backup support for invoice processing, distribution, and mailing Perform additional duties and projects assigned What You Bring to the Team Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred 3-5 years of accounting and accounts receivable experience required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience working with CRM systems preferred Why You'll Love Working Here Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package Career growth and advancement opportunities Supportive, team-oriented culture Opportunity to join a stable and growing organization Ready to Take the Next Step?
