Job Description

Cash Applications Specialist - Plymouth Meeting, PA What You'll Do Apply daily check and ACH payments accurately to customer accounts. Prepare daily cash receipts and bank deposits. Research and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash. Communicate with internal departments and external customers to resolve account issues. Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP. Monitor assigned accounts receivable aging reports and investigate outstanding balances. Process authorized ACH direct debit transactions. Perform account reconciliations and research reconciling items. Maintain documentation supporting SOX compliance and internal controls. Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and testing initiatives. Support invoicing and financing documentation as needed. Help identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency. What We're Looking For 2+ years of accounting, cash applications, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Exposure to General Ledger accounting and journal entries. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills. Positive, outgoing personality with strong communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Pay:
$52,369.23 - $67,068.32 per year
