Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support various accounting functions, including payroll processing for clients and managing financial records using QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, proficiency in productivity software, and excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with clients. Responsibilities Assist with payroll processing for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage and update financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software. Communicate with clients via phone or email. Utilize Microsoft Office applications to prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation related to accounting activities. Maintain organized records of financial transactions and correspondence. Support the organization with administrative tasks as needed. Skills Strong computer skills with proficiency in productivity software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred. Excellent communication skills for client interaction via phone and written correspondence. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of payroll processes and client communication best practices. Organizational skills to keep financial records accurate and up-to-date.
Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 32.0 per weekBenefits:
