Accounting Assistant

Job DescriptionJob Description The Accounting Assistant will play a critical role in managing corporate, tax, and financial accounting functions within a small team setting. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining comprehensive accounts payable and receivable records, and supporting tax preparation and audits. The ideal candidate will be adept in payroll processing and skilled in utilizing QuickBooks online to enhance financial operations and reporting. This position requires to have CRM and QBO syncing and utilizing experience. Additional job responsibility include answering phones, contacting customer regarding past due invoices as well as other various office task. This is an in-office position located in Sunbury, Ohio. Remote work is not available for this role. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Contacting Customers regarding past due invoices Support tax preparation and compliance activities Assist with internal and external audit procedures Utilize QuickBooks online for financial record keeping and reporting Required Qualifications Minimum 2 year accounting experience Proven experience in a full-cycle accounts payable and/or accounts receivable role Have used Quickbooks Online within the past year Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online
