Job Description
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 and it comes with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance. Job Description The Head of Accounting will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations related to our condo property management activities. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Oversee daily accounting operations related to property management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance for company-owned properties.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Manage the annual budget preparation process and provide ongoing support for budget monitoring and forecasting.
Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, tenant ledgers, and other key financial accounts.
Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate and timely rent collections, lease accounting, and expense reporting.
Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
