Job Overview Insight Payroll Associates is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Accounting & Payroll Specialist to join our team! Position Summary As an Accounting & Payroll Specialist, you will manage bookkeeping and payroll processing services for multiple business clients. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Accounting Duties Record daily bank deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions in QuickBooks. Reconcile multiple client bank accounts on a monthly basis. Prepare and distribute monthly Profit & Loss statements and other financial reports. Manage accounts payable Reconcile and monitor company credit card transactions. Process and reconcile payroll billing through KotaPay. Research and respond to client questions regarding payroll taxes and bookkeeping matters. Resolve payroll tax notices and correspondence from the IRS and state tax agencies. Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring confidentiality of client information. Payroll Duties Process weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls accurately and on schedule. Enter and maintain employee payroll information, including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, direct deposits, tax elections, and benefit deductions. Process garnishments, child support orders, and other payroll deductions. Calculate payroll adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and special payroll payments. Prepare and process payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Assist clients with payroll questions and provide outstanding customer service. Maintain confidentiality of employee and client information.
