The Accounts Payable Associate will perform day-to-day accounting duties with a high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. This position allows for a flexible schedule (Monday through Friday), but does not support remote work. Local candidates only, please. Responsibilities and Duties Multi-location reporting Enter invoices and vendor statements Pay invoices in accordance with credit terms Correspond appropriately and as needed with vendors Reconcile vendor accounts Prepare and post journal entries Support month-end closing procedures File documents in an accurate and timely manner Assist in other areas as needed Qualifications Advanced skills in MS Office and Google Apps Knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting and GAAP concepts Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete assignments within deadlines Ability to multi-task and maintain a high attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills A desire to broaden skills and knowledgeSimilar jobs in Portland, OR
