JOB DESCRIPTION
Description Process and enter invoices accurately into the accounting system. Assist with clearing existing accounts payable reconciliation backlogs. Review financial transactions for completeness and accuracy. Reconcile vendor statements and identify discrepancies. Research and resolve invoice, payment, and account issues. Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation. Support month-end accounting activities as needed. Collaborate with accounting team members to ensure timely completion of AP processes. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Experience with JAMIS, Deltek, or other accounting/ERP systems. Experience assisting with reconciliations and invoice processing in a high-volume environment. Prior experience supporting finance or accounting teams within nonprofit, government contracting, or research organizations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Silver Spring, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
