On-Site/Hybrid Compensation:
$150,000-$200,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications About Ironcrest Roofing Group Ironcrest Roofing Group is a growing South Florida roofing and construction company serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Miami area. We're looking for an experienced finance and accounting professional to take ownership of our accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial controls, billing, collections, vendor relationships, and accounting operations . This is an important position within our organization and is designed for someone who can operate independently, identify financial issues, improve processes, and help build a scalable accounting function as the company grows.
Position:
Senior Finance & Accounting Manager — AP/AR The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while working closely with company leadership, project managers, vendors, subcontractors, customers, and external accounting professionals. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations Manage customer invoicing, payments, collections, credits, and account reconciliations Review and approve vendor invoices, subcontractor invoices, and payment documentation Monitor outstanding receivables and develop effective collection processes Maintain accurate vendor and customer accounts Perform monthly account reconciliations and financial reviews Monitor cash flow, incoming payments, and outgoing obligations Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Work with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and billing Review construction-related invoices, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor documentation Coordinate with CPAs, tax professionals, banks, and other financial partners Identify discrepancies, accounting errors, and opportunities to improve financial processes Prepare management reports and financial summaries for company leadership Help build and supervise the accounting/administrative team as the company expands Maintain confidentiality of company financial information What We're Looking For We're seeking a highly organized, analytical, and accountable professional with significant experience in accounting operations.
Preferred qualifications:
5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience Experience with construction, roofing, contracting, or project-based businesses preferred Experience with job costing and project billing preferred Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls Experience with accounting software and financial reporting systems Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial operations Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional credentials are a plus Compensation & Benefits Annual salary: $150,000-$200,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.
